Coric relaunches himself by winning the Lugano Challenger
Apart from a victory against Felix Auger-Aliassime at the United Cup, Borna Coric had not won any matches in tournaments.
The Croat remedied this by winning the Lugano Challenger, having a great week without losing a single set.
He defeated Raphaël Collignon in the final, a player in great form who has just entered the Top 100 for the first time in his career.
Coric won 6-3, 6-1 and will gain 23 places in the ATP rankings this Monday. He will follow up with the Thionville Challenger where he will be the number 1 seed.
He chose not to play the qualifying rounds for Indian Wells and Miami.
