Davidovich Fokina: "All things come to those who wait"

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina made a successful start to the Barcelona tournament this Tuesday by defeating Stan Wawrinka.
In the post-match press conference, he was asked about his first ATP title, which still eludes him despite having played in three finals.
The Spaniard replied: "They say all things come to those who wait. I’ve had the privilege of playing two finals this season, one of them with multiple match points, so I’d rather lose in the final than early in the tournament.
If the title comes and then I lose in the first round of three tournaments… well, I’d rather keep losing finals.
The opportunity could have come in Monte-Carlo, but Charly (Alcaraz) played pretty well, that bastard (laughs). The important thing is to be ready every week, prepared to face any challenge."
Davidovich Fokina will face Andrey Rublev this Thursday for a spot in the Barcelona quarterfinals.
