Arthur Fils continues his strong run in Barcelona. After defeating Pablo Carreno Busta in the first round, he faced Pedro Martinez this Wednesday.

The Frenchman played a very solid match, saving the only break point he conceded. He won 6-3, 6-2 in just 1 hour and 8 minutes.

With this victory, he becomes the third player under 21 in the 21st century to reach multiple quarterfinals in Barcelona.

He will next face the winner of the match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Sebastian Korda.
