De Minaur Collapses Against Bublik After Leading Two Sets to Love
While Alex de Minaur seemed headed for a comfortable victory against Alexander Bublik at Roland-Garros after taking the first two sets 6-2, the Australian ultimately fell in five sets.
The Kazakh, despite being known for his dislike of clay courts, managed to overturn the 2024 quarterfinalist to win 2-6, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2. This marks the third time he has come back from a 2-0 set deficit.
Bublik will face either Henrique Rocha or Jakub Mensik in the third round.
