De Minaur on being top 10: "You have to accept that the days are going to be long".
Alex de Minaur easily beat Tristan Boyer in the second round of the Australian Open on Thursday.
In a press conference, he was asked how he now approaches his top 10 status.
The Australian replied: "You have to accept that the days are going to be long.
You spend five or six hours working on yourself, whether it's on or off the pitch, in rehab, recovering, in the gym... or responding to press commitments.
I'm getting a healthy balance and I've got a team to help me with that.
The more matches you win, the more press attention you'll get, but for me, nothing will change and I'll continue to prioritize my commitment to the tennis courts."
He will face Francisco Cerundolo in the third round.
