De Minaur, the defending champion, withdraws from participating in the s-Hertogenbosch tournament
Indeed, the ATP 250 tournament in s-Hertogenbosch is experiencing a flurry of withdrawals just hours before the draw of its 2025 edition. Following the withdrawals of Fils, Griekspoor, Korda (all due to injury), it is now the turn of Alex De Minaur, who was supposed to be the top seed of the tournament, to announce his withdrawal from the Dutch event.
It's a tough blow for the Australian, who was the defending champion of this ATP event after his victory against Sebastian Korda last year in the final in straight sets (6-2, 6-4).
In recent days, during a press conference, the world No. 9 had complained about the schedule following his early elimination in the second round of Roland-Garros against Alexander Bublik, where he was defeated after initially leading by two sets to none against the Kazakh.
