Griekspoor and Korda withdraw from s-Hertogenbosch tournament
The s-Hertogenbosch tournament (known as Bois-le-Duc in French) continues to record withdrawals for its 2025 edition, which takes place next week on Dutch grass. After the withdrawals of Arthur Fils, Flavio Cobolli, Marcos Giron, and Miomir Kecmanovic, two more players will not be able to take their place in the main draw.
These are Tallon Griekspoor (world No. 35) and Sebastian Korda (ATP No. 23). The Dutchman, who wanted to compete in this home tournament, suffered an abdominal injury during his Roland-Garros round of 16 match against Alexander Zverev.
As for the American, he experienced back issues during his match against Frances Tiafoe, where he was defeated in three sets. Additionally, Korda will not play any grass-court preparation tournaments for Wimbledon this year, as the Bradenton, Florida native has also decided to withdraw from the Queen’s tournament, which takes place the following week.
Following these two new withdrawals, Aleksandar Kovacevic and Christopher O'Connell enter the main draw without having to go through qualifying for this tournament held in the Netherlands.
