Del Potro beats Djokovic for his last time on a tennis court!

At the El Ultimo Desafio (The Last Challenge) exhibition, Juan Martin Del Potro defeated his former rival and friend Novak Djokovic in two sets (6-4, 7-5).

In front of some 15,000 people in Buenos Aires, Juan Martin Del Potro, for one evening, offered us a few forehand slaps of which only he has the secret.

Djokovic had come to enjoy himself, and it showed on the court, with some very friendly points exchanged between the two men.

The Argentinian, who relied on a very good serve, was able to fire up the crowd by winning the first set. The start of the second set was played as a double, with Del Potro partnering Gabriela Sabatini and Djokovic partnering Gisela Dulko.

The two players then resumed the match in singles, and it was the former world no. 3 who broke for a second time
(6-5) in this match to claim the last, albeit symbolic, victory of his career.

Naturally, he broke down in tears after the match point, to a standing ovation from the Buenos Aires crowd.
