Dimitrov Doubles with Mahut: "It's a happy ending for him"
Nicolas Mahut will bid farewell to the world of professional tennis this week at the Rolex Paris Masters. For this occasion, the Frenchman will not be teaming up with his famous partner Pierre-Hugues Herbert, but with Grigor Dimitrov.
The two players had previously played together twice: in Rotterdam and Washington in 2023.
The Bulgarian had a few words for his partner: "We always wanted to play a few matches together in recent years, but honestly, I never found the time. This is the right moment. It's his last tournament. I have a very emotional relationship with him.
We have been playing against each other for many years. We have faced each other more than once in important matches. So it's safe to say it's a happy ending for him."
