Grigor Dimitrov secured his second Masters 1000 quarter-final of the year after Miami this Thursday. The Bulgarian defeated Alejandro Tabilo in three sets (6-3, 3-6, 6-2) in a fantastic atmosphere on the Court des Princes.
Tabilo, who stunned Novak Djokovic yesterday, did not show the same level today, committing 41 unforced errors, 5 double faults, and conceding a total of sixteen break points on his serve.
Having qualified for the fifth quarter-final of his career in Monte-Carlo, Dimitrov will have a chance to make his mark tomorrow against Alex De Minaur.
