Questioned in the press conference, Djokovic preferred to remain positive, seeing this match as a reassuring fact for his future: "I think there are several positive points to remember.
First of all, I think my level was really good in this tournament, probably the best this season after the Olympics in terms of play, performance and fighting spirit.

Maybe I didn't feel one hundred percent fresh, but at the same time, you've got to give Jannik credit for playing the important points better than I did.
