Djokovic beats Lehecka to join Alcaraz in Australian Open quarter-finals

Novak Djokovic qualified for the quarter-finals of the Australian Open on Sunday, beating Jiri Lehecka 6-3, 6-4, 7-6.

This is the 15th time he has qualified for this stage of the competition in Melbourne.

After controlling the first two sets, Lehecka raised his game and took Djokovic to the tie-break.

Unfortunately for the Czech, he was unable to win the tie-break and lost in three sets.

The Serbian refused to be interviewed by Jim Courier after the match, and simply said a few words to thank the fans, to the booing of the crowd.

He will meet Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-finals.
