Djokovic Dropped from Top Four Seeds at Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic will aim for an eighth title and a 25th career Grand Slam at Wimbledon (June 30 - July 13).

The Serbian, who has reached six consecutive finals on the London grass (four titles and two runner-up finishes), will face a potentially trickier draw this year. Indeed, by winning the Stuttgart tournament, Taylor Fritz will reclaim the world No. 4 spot tomorrow before competing at Queen’s, where he will battle remotely with Jack Draper for the No. 4 seeding at Wimbledon.

Djokovic, as is often the case, had not planned to play a warm-up tournament. He will therefore be the No. 5 seed for the year’s third Grand Slam. In this scenario, he could face defending champion Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner as early as the quarterfinals.

Wimbeldon seeding are not entirely based on rankings. He will be in top 4 seeds in wimbeldon due to his good record at wimbeldon
