Moutet Draws Fritz, Rinderknech as Lucky Loser: Qualifiers Learn Their Fate at Queen’s
Four players from the qualifying rounds will feature in the main draw of Queen’s, which begins on Monday.
Corentin Moutet, who defeated Arthur Rinderknech to secure his spot, will face a tough challenge against Taylor Fritz, the recent Stuttgart champion. Meanwhile, Rinderknech benefited from Grigor Dimitrov’s withdrawal to enter the draw and was handed a difficult matchup against Ben Shelton.
Among the other qualifiers, Aleksandar Vukic will take on compatriot Alexei Popyrin, while Alex Bolt will square off against Jacob Fearnley. Gaël Monfils, initially set to face Dimitrov, will now play Mackenzie McDonald instead.
