Djokovic easily wins his doubles match with Verdasco in Doha

Novak Djokovic is paired with Fernando Verdasco in the doubles draw of the ATP 500 in Doha.

Verdasco will officially retire at the end of the tournament.

The two men didn't need to exert themselves in their first round matches against Alexander Bublik and Karen Khachanov.

They won 6-1, 6-1 in 50 minutes of play, all in good spirits.

At the end of the match, Verdasco declared: "I have to say that after this match, I shouldn't be playing in the 2nd round... I should just retire with a win.

Thank you very much for coming, see you on Wednesday."

They will face Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten in the quarter-finals.
