Easy winner in the final of the ATP 500 in Beijing against Learner Tien (6-2, 6-2), Jannik Sinner clinched the 21st title of his career and the 3rd this season. An impressive performance that further strengthens the similarity with a certain Novak Djokovic.
A comparison to which the Italian responded in an interview relayed by Tennis World Italia:
"When they compare me to Djokovic, I always think he is in a different league, with everything he has accomplished in his career. I'm just a normal 24-year-old guy trying to play the best tennis possible.
I know I've won big titles in my young career, but let's see how long I can keep winning. What Novak, Rafa and Roger have been doing for over 15 years is incredible. Novak is still here and showing an incredible level of play. I don't compare myself to them, I'm here to play and have fun."
