De Minaur, Musetti, Ruud… Who will secure their spot for the ATP Finals?

De Minaur, Musetti, Ruud… Who will secure their spot for the ATP Finals?

While Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have already punched their tickets to Turin, the battle for the final six spots in the 2025 ATP Finals is turning into a nerve-wracking contest. Shanghai, the final Asian stop on the tour, could well become the stage for major upsets.

Thanks to his recent performances, Taylor Fritz is knocking on the door of the Top 4, overtaking a physically hampered Ben Shelton. Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic, still firmly entrenched in the Top 5, are not immune to surprises.

In 7th place, Alex de Minaur embodies one of the most impressive current trends. Long considered a second-tier player, the Australian has capitalized on his consistency and mental toughness to climb into the hot zone.

Eighth in the Race, Lorenzo Musetti currently holds the final qualifying spot. However, Auger-Aliassime could play spoiler if he manages to raise his level in Shanghai. And watch out for Casper Ruud, revitalized by a strong showing in Tokyo and clearly rediscovering his motivation… and his game.

With just over four weeks until the deadline (November 9–16), the slightest injury, underperformance, or standout performance could turn an entire season around.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

How about leavin...

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

As a long time player and lover of this game , I don't know how much of this I can tolerate. For example I waited hours last night for you to confirm my win and post my points. Every ot...

This week I have used all my formulas and best guesses to try to achieve the high score jimandlori958 set in our last competition. I am two games short because of cancelations and I need all wins to get there.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.

Grenier def Ysu 6-2 , 6-2 at Kobe today and the TT canceled the match.

An impressive win.. Congrats to our winner this week, jimandlori958 and with a score that could not be caught or matched. I don't remember a 56 in a while with our group. Nice to see everyone using the 2 point predictions. Can't win without 'em.
