Djokovic is Olympic champion!

He finally did it.

After several traumatic failures, Novak Djokovic has finally achieved the major accomplishment he was still missing: the gold medal.

The story is absolutely crazy. After suffering an injury in the quarter-finals of the French Open, he went on to have an excellent tournament at Wimbledon, reaching the final before clinching Olympic gold on Sunday (7-6, 7-6).

Taking his revenge on an Alcaraz who had outclassed him in London, Djokovic produced the perfect match, rediscovering the level of tennis that had led him to dominate the circuit so masterfully.

Untouchable, "Nole" realized his dream and was able to let his emotions out: he was finally Olympic champion!

Alcaraz will get two Gold medals at this Olympics........one Gold......just one Silver.
I'm not saying that Silver is bad.......just put things in order how they were presented by some tennis experts.

Forget that he's 37, and as late as the quarter finals he wasn't sure if his injured knee was torn up again, Djoker continues to amaze me. I can finally say he's the GOAT. Like Monty Python's Black Knight, he refuses to stay down. Big congratulations!

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
