Draper after his victory against Musetti: "It was a really great match from both of us"

This Sunday, Jack Draper will play his second Masters 1000 final this season. After being crowned champion in Indian Wells, the Brit—who will break into the ATP top 5 for the first time next week—will attempt to add a second title in this tournament category against Casper Ruud.
In recent hours, the left-hander defeated Lorenzo Musetti for the fourth time in as many meetings on the main tour (6-3, 7-6) and shared his initial thoughts after securing his spot in the final.
"It was a really great match from both of us. I felt like we were going all out from the first ball. And toward the end of the second set, I sensed Lorenzo pushing hard to come back—he started playing even better and hit a lot of winners.
"I regained control of the match with some good serves and volleys. On clay, he’s even stronger than on other surfaces, so getting this win against him under these conditions means a lot to me," he analyzed before turning his attention to the final against the Norwegian.
"Even though Casper (Ruud) hasn’t won a Masters 1000 yet, he has a lot of experience with Grand Slam finals. He plays really well, and I’ll need to bring my best tennis to the court if I want to have a chance at winning," he stated, according to comments gathered by *L'Équipe* in recent hours.
