Draper ready to address his physical issues: 'I'm trying to understand more about my body'
Jack Draper finished the year ranked 15th in the world, impressing at the US Open, where he reached the semi-finals, and winning the Vienna tournament at the end of the season.
Despite this, the Briton regularly experienced physical problems and also suffered from the heat in New York during his US Open semi-final against Jannik Sinner.
Draper was due to fly to Spain for preseason with Carlos Alcaraz, but had to pull out due to a slight injury.
Speaking to the BBC, the British No.1 spoke of his plans to remedy the physical worries that may have hampered his progress: "It's important that I look after my body and don't do anything else that could compromise the start of my season.
I know a lot of other young players and we're always trying to understand our bodies better, how we can manage them over the long term, with exercises to do and others not to do.
I'm at that stage now, where I'm trying to understand more about my body, to hopefully have a long and successful career.
Here in Britain, it's not the sunniest place. I was planning to go somewhere else to get more warmth, to get this exposure."
