Eastbourne ATP 250 Tournament Draw: Potential Fritz-Fonseca Clash in Round of 16, Mpetshi Perricard Faces Norrie

The grass-court tour continues next week with the final warm-up tournaments before Wimbledon, which begins in about ten days. In Eastbourne, some ATP players will fine-tune the final details of their game before heading to London.
Top seed Taylor Fritz, who was pushed out of the top 4 by Jack Draper, will enter the draw directly in the round of 16 and could face João Fonseca if the latter defeats Zizou Bergs in his opening match. In the quarterfinals, the American might also face Flavio Cobolli, though the Italian will first have to navigate past the challenge posed by Jacob Fearnley.
Jakub Mensik, who received a first-round bye, will start his tournament against the winner of the match between Matteo Arnaldi and Reilly Opelka. On the other side of the draw, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard—who hopes to build momentum to defend the points he earned from last year’s Wimbledon round of 16—will have to hit the ground running in his opener against Cameron Norrie.
Two other French players will be in action. Ugo Humbert, who appears to have recovered from his right-hand injury, will play in the round of 16 against Nuno Borges (whom he defeated just days ago in 's-Hertogenbosch) or wild card Jack Pinnington Jones. Quentin Halys, meanwhile, will face a qualifier. Alexander Bublik and Tommy Paul are also expected to compete.
