Eleventh consecutive Grand Slam victory for Keys, advances to Roland-Garros quarterfinals

Madison Keys, the reigning Australian Open champion, comfortably secured her spot in the quarterfinals by defeating fellow American Hailey Baptiste (6-3, 7-5).

The world No. 8 had a scare in the previous round against Sofia Kenin, saving three match points. This time, Keys managed to recover from a break down in the second set, winning six of the last eight games from 1-3 to 7-5.

In the quarterfinals, which she reaches for the third time in her career at Roland-Garros, she will face another American opponent for the third consecutive match, taking on world No. 2 Coco Gauff.
