David Ferrer, Spain's Davis Cup captain, reflects on Rafael Nadal's controversial farewell ceremony.

Nadal's career ended with a Davis Cup defeat, but his farewell ceremony was not to everyone's taste.

His uncle Toni Nadal and his former coach Carlos Moya, for example, said the farewell was not worthy of the player.

Ferrer gave a similar opinion, clearly disappointed with what the organizers had prepared: "With this Davis Cup format, everything has changed. It was a Tuesday, people came from work.

The farewells were after the defeat and in a hurry. It was a bit sad. Federer, Djokovic and Pau Gasol were all missing.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.
