Ferrero: "2024 is a great year for Alcaraz, but there's the other monster, Sinner"
Juan Carlos Ferrero, Carlos Alcaraz's coach, gave an interview for Punto de Break, taking stock of his player's 2024.
He says: "A year in which you win a Grand Slam is always a fantastic year. If you win two, well that's impressive.
Winning a Masters 1000 like Indian Wells or an ATP 500 like Beijing makes the season even better, but of course, there's the other monster, Sinner who's won it all."
Ferrero also gives an update on the pre-season: "Carlos came here with a lot of enthusiasm, the break did him good and the two exhibitions put him on the right track to get here.
The first week focused on physical preparation for adaptation, as well as tests with Babolat and Nike for shoes.
The second week was more volume-oriented, with three hours on court and more intense workouts.
