For Etcheverry, Nadal is playing better and better: "I can see him doing very well in Paris".
Tomas Martin Etcheverry is perhaps the ATP Tour player whose opinion of Rafael Nadal makes the most sense.
Invited by the Spaniard to come and play at one of 'Rafa's' training centers in Sani, Greece, he discussed the King of clay's state of form.
Clearly impressed, he declared: "I think he's much better. At Roland Garros, against Zverev, it was a very difficult first round, but he played an excellent match and he knows it. He's prepared specifically for the Olympic Games.
I have no doubt that he'll try to do his best and I hope that his physique will allow him to do so, which is the most important thing. But I can see him doing very well in Paris."
