Four French Players, Fonseca, Pospisil: Sunday's Schedule on July 27 in Toronto

This Sunday marks the beginning of the main draw of the Toronto Masters 1000. However, some qualifying matches could not be completed, and players who drew a qualified opponent in the first round are not yet fully determined. Therefore, the matches Daniel-Martin, Blockx-Ajdukovic, and Schoolkate-Nanda must first be concluded.
Regarding the main draw, there will be four matches on the schedule. Sebastian Ofner will face Reilly Opelka, followed by Gaël Monfils entering the fray against a yet-to-be-determined qualified player.
In the evening session, Vasek Pospisil (who will play the final tournament of his career) and João Fonseca will both face qualified players whose identities are still unknown.
On the Grandstand, Benjamin Bonzi will be one of the four French players in action for the day, and he will face Adam Walton. Immediately after, Laslo Djere will challenge Nicolas Arseneault, before Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard's match.
Later in the day, Quentin Halys will meet Miomir Kecmanovic a few weeks after their clash at Roland-Garros, while Juncheng Shang will make his big return six months after his last tournament at the Australian Open.
Also on the schedule on other courts are the matches of Learner Tien, Zizou Bergs, Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Jaume Munar, Jacob Fearnley, and Roman Safiullin.
The complete lineup for the day will be known once the final three qualifying matches in the men's draw have been played. Find the full schedule for this first day of the main draw in the Toronto Masters 1000 below.
