Fritz and Gauff share their thoughts ahead of the United Cup
Americans Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz will be playing together in the United Cup, defending the colors of the United States.
Both finished the 2024 season in fine style: Gauff won the WTA Finals and Fritz reached the final of the ATP Finals.
Fritz, who won the United Cup in 2023, says: "I'm looking forward to it. The format has changed a bit over the years.
The year we won, we were able to use the depth of our team a lot more.
Now, a lot more can go wrong for the favorite team, as there are only two singles matches and one mixed doubles match.
I'm excited about playing here and with Coco."
Gauff added: "We're both coming off a good year. This will be the second time we've played together.
I hope we can do even better than we did at the Olympics in Paris."
The USA will play in Perth and are in Group A with Canada and Croatia.
