Fritz Wins Eastbourne Tournament for the Fourth Time in Six Editions

Taylor Fritz is the undisputed king of Eastbourne. After triumphs in 2019, 2022, and 2024, the American secured his fourth title by dominating his compatriot Jenson Brooksby (7-5, 6-1) in the final.

Pushed to the limit throughout the week with hard-fought victories against Fonseca, Giron, and Davidovich Fokina, Fritz mastered his game in this final, clinching a tight first set before cruising through the second. He made the difference with 21 winners and 8 aces.

The match was punctuated by some brilliant shots from Brooksby (see videos below), who suffered his second career loss in a grass-court final after Newport in 2021.

Fritz will head to Wimbledon with confidence, carrying his 10th career title. Last year, he reached the quarterfinals there, defeating Alexander Zverev along the way.
