Gasquet and Mannarino joke about Nadal and his pre-match comments: "Even if he’s playing someone at a regional level, he’ll tell you he has to play well"
In a video produced by UTS, Richard Gasquet, Adrian Mannarino, and David Goffin shared their thoughts on Rafael Nadal and his pre-match statements, where he always appeared cautious about his opponent (see video below).
Gasquet: "Nadal, even if he’s playing someone at a regional level, he’ll tell you he has to play well."

Mannarino: "He’s a very good player (laughs)."
Gasquet: "Toni (Nadal) will say: 'No, but the guy plays pretty well.'"
Mannarino: "Even on clay, if he’s playing against a qualifier, he’ll make you believe he’s worried about him."
Gasquet: "But I don’t know if he’s really worried. That’d be funny."
