Gauff ahead of her clash with Swiatek in the United Cup final: "I'll go out on to the court feeling confident".
Thanks to her victory over Muchova in the semi-finals, Coco Gauff helped the USA qualify for tomorrow's United Cup final against Poland in Sydney.
The match will also feature the first clash of 2025 between Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff.
Although largely behind in head-to-heads (11 losses - 2 wins), Gauff won their last match at the WTA Finals in Riyadh.
It's with the confidence gained from that victory that she takes to the court tomorrow, as she explained in a press conference: "I'm feeling good. Obviously, Iga is a very tough opponent.
It's going to be a great level of tennis, and I can't wait to get back on the court and try to bring the trophy home.
In Riyadh, I was very confident. When I play with confidence, I play my best tennis. It's difficult for her or other opponents to do anything.
So tomorrow, I'll go out on court confident."
