Gauff awaits Sabalenka in the semi-finals
Coco Gauff follows up perfectly.
Having just won the title in Beijing, the gifted 20-year-old reached the semi-finals of the Wuhan Masters 1000 with authority.
Winning all her matches with authority and without dropping a set, she seems to be confirming her return to the very top of the world rankings.
Against Magda Linette, Gauff made no bones about it. At ease on the court and hitting the ball hard, she left no space for a Polish player without a solution (6-0, 6-4).
For a place in the final, she will undoubtedly have the opportunity to measure herself against one of the best players on the planet: Aryna Sabalenka.
Unless, of course, the Belarusian is trapped by Magdalena Frech.
