Gauff takes Beijing by storm!

Gauff takes Beijing by storm!

Coco Gauff seems to be back in business.

Disappointing for several weeks and stripped of her US Open title, the gifted 20-year-old has just reassured herself by winning the WTA 1000 in Beijing.

Badly beaten by Osaka and Badosa, Gauff never gave up, always finding the solutions to win or to make her opponent physically explode.

Faced with a bluffing Karolina Muchova in the final, she took advantage of her opponent's lacklustre performance to unleash her tennis and win in just over an hour (6-1, 6-3).

Having just dropped out of the top 5, she is now back in it, and could well cause the other members of the top 5 quite a few problems at the end of the season.
