Gauff reaches the semi-finals and Badosa

It's still not great Coco Gauff, but for now it's good enough.
A bit of a miracle in the Round of 16, where she took advantage of Osaka's withdrawal as she was heading for defeat, the world number 4 once again missed her debut before qualifying on Thursday.
Faced with the tournament's surprise qualifier, Yuliia Starodubtseva, ranked 115th in the world, Gauff initially struggled before finally overcoming the Ukrainian (2-6, 6-2, 6-2).
Relieved, she will now face Paula Badosa for a place in the final of the Beijing tournament.
