Gauff hands Siegemund a 6-0 and advances to Wuhan semifinals

Laura Siegemund's run came to an end this Friday in Wuhan. Having qualified for the quarterfinals after notably defeating Mirra Andreeva, the challenge proved too great against Coco Gauff.

However, Siegemund managed to break serve early on, but gave it back immediately. Gauff then accelerated to take the first set 6-3.

The second set was completely one-sided, with a 6-0 handed out by the American. Qualified for the semifinals, she will face Jasmine Paolini or Iga Swiatek.

When Gauff is serving well and in control of her emotions, she can beat anyone.
