Halys secures her place in the final draw at Paris-Bercy

Quentin Halys lived up to his guest status.

Benefiting from a wild-card for the qualifying rounds of the Paris Masters 1000, the Frenchman played two high-quality matches to reach the main draw.

Having already beaten 53rd-ranked Cameron Norrie yesterday (6-3, 6-4), the Frenchman confirmed his place in the main draw on Sunday.

Facing Yunchaokete Bu, ranked 76th in the world, Halys was dominated for a long time before recovering to take control of the match and win in 2 hours 20 minutes (3-6, 7-6, 6-3).

This afternoon, Corentin Moutet and Arthur Cazaux will attempt to follow in his footsteps and join the main draw.
