Henman on a 25th Grand Slam title for Djokovic: "His best chance is at Wimbledon"
Novak Djokovic, just a few months away from turning 38, is still chasing a 25th Grand Slam title, which has eluded him for over a year.
While Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have established themselves as the new stars of the sport, with three and four Grand Slam titles respectively to their names, Tim Henman believes Djokovic will still have an opportunity at Wimbledon, where he was defeated in the final by Alcaraz in the last two editions:
"I think Wimbledon is where he will have the best chance to win his 25th Grand Slam title. I remember last year, when he reached the final despite his knee surgery.
I believe that if he went that far, it was thanks to a combination of his confidence and his understanding of the game on grass. Many other players don't have the same feel on this surface.
In Australia, four or five players could have won the tournament, no more. On grass, there will be fewer favorites. Sinner knows what it takes to reach the semifinals, but his game is more vulnerable on this surface.
And then there are Djokovic and Alcaraz. Beyond these three names, it's hard to predict."
