"How many breaks is this guy going to take?" Opelka's frustration during his match against Comesana in Cincinnati
Defeated in Cincinnati by Francisco Comesana with a score of 6-7, 6-4, 7-5, Opelka failed to find solutions against the Argentine, even expressing his frustration to the chair umpire over a changeover incident.
The incident occurred right after the second set, when Comesana decided to take a bathroom break to change his outfit. Opelka, visibly upset by the match's momentum, complained to the umpire, saying:
"How many breaks is this guy going to take? The last time I took a break this long, I got fined $150,000."
Eliminated in the third round of the American tournament, the American has not reached the round of 16 in his last six tournaments, with his last deep run dating back to 's-Hertogenbosch in June. Meanwhile, Comesana continues his run in Ohio and will face Rublev for a spot in the quarterfinals.
