Ugo Humbert won't be the favorite to face Alexander Zverev, but he can count on the support of the public this Sunday afternoon in the final of the Rolex Paris Masters.
The Frenchman is fully aware of this advantage and intends to make the most of it, as he did in the semi-final against Karen Khachanov.
Ugo Humbert: "For me, it's pure happiness. There are 15,000 people behind me, and of course I'm using it because it's a major asset.
And then, as I've been saying all week, I'm really playing from the heart, and I want to share this moment with them. I don't know, I want to pass on something, and feel that they're there to help me and push me.
Against Khachanov (in Saturday's semi-final), there were times when I was really in the red physically, and seeing him cramping up and the crowd pushing me, it gave me a second wind. I felt great, and that's what enabled me to snatch victory, so it's great to be with them."
