Humbert-Norrie in Caen Open final, Mertens victorious
The Caen Open has announced the line-up for this Wednesday's final. Ugo Humbert will face Cameron Norrie. The Frenchman beat Richard Gasquet, bidding farewell to the tournament after thirteen appearances.
Humbert won 7-5, 4-6, 6-4. Following the match, Gasquet received a video tribute and an honorary trophy from the tournament management and the mayor of Caen.
In the other semi-final, Cameron Norrie defeated Alexandre Müller. The Briton won the match 6-3, 6-4.
On the women's side, Elise Mertens won the tournament, beating Bernarda Pera 7-5, 6-4 in the final. She succeeds Varvara Gracheva as Caen Open champion.
