Nicolas Mahut officially retired from professional tennis this Tuesday after his first-round doubles loss with Grigor Dimitrov.

This event prompted reactions from the tennis world, including from Stefanos Tsitsipas who wanted to pay tribute to the Frenchman, with whom he had played doubles at the Barcelona tournament in 2023.

On his X account, he stated: "I am proud to say that I was able to play with someone who achieved the Career Grand Slam.

Happy retirement and congratulations on this great career.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?
