Jannik Sinner will begin the US Open with a lot of pressure on his shoulders, as the defending champion but also with the world No. 1 ranking at stake, which he has held since June 2024.

To relax and forget all these stakes for a moment, the Italian has taken up a new passion: Legos. This is what he told Corriere della Sera in an interview published today:

"I've become passionate about Legos, really passionate. In the evening, for example, I build them. Right now, it's a car. Here in New York, I have a bit more free time, and there's a Lego store near my hotel. I went there and bought a Porsche. I finished it in one day, in five hours. Then I told myself I needed a bigger one.

I feel like the last one I bought is too big... But I like it. I listen to music and think about other things. When you're a tennis player or an athlete, you have so many things on your mind and a lot of pressure. All the time. So in the evening, I really enjoy this.

Oh. You're funny. at least it seems you're trying to be. Your commentl makes you look insecure. Try better next time. Jannik is a cheater. And he's a doper. There can be no discussion about that.

You don't even know what insecure means. And you think you know tennis, but I know that reality hurts.

One more article about this cheater and doper, and I'll go ballistic. Block me all you want. But he is a cheater. A doper. A steroid user. He uses banned substances and his buddies from Italy who control the ATP, just let him inject any steroid he needs, without him facing consequences. They even let him choose the dates when he can serve a so called ban. Give me an eff ing break. Mafia. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Wish the insults and name calling would just stop. So unsporting and tiresome

Omnipresent cameras, line judges on the verge of extinction, mistakes that persist nonetheless: technology fascinates as much as it divides. Tennis, at a crossroads, is still searching for its balance between progress and emotion.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
