I didn’t say I didn’t want to play at 11 in the morning," Davidovich Fokina clarifies his comments after complaining about the Toronto schedule

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina faced Jakub Mensik in the third round in Toronto.
The Spaniard, in strong form since his final in Washington, delivered a brilliant performance to win 6-2, 6-4 against the Miami Masters 1000 champion. During his post-match interview, he was asked about his social media post from yesterday, where he complained about being scheduled for the only match starting at 11 a.m. local time:
"It was a tough match. I posted on my social media that the match was very early, that the scheduling wasn’t fair because all the other matches start at 12:30. I didn’t say I didn’t want to play at 11, but that things needed to change.
I’ve played Mensik twice this year. I knew it would be difficult because he has a big serve, but that I’d have opportunities on his service games. The match was intense, even if the score doesn’t reflect it.
