I don't want to speak ill of Emma, but if you compare her to Draper…" – Andy Murray's brother shares his take on Raducanu

In an interview reported by *Tennis Up To Date*, Jamie Murray, brother of legend Andy, discussed the situation of Britain’s two tennis prospects, Raducanu and Draper. According to him, despite their close ages (22 and 23), there’s a huge gap between the two.
"She had a favorable draw, facing a young British player (Mimi Xu) in the first round at Wimbledon. But if she’s not seeded, she’ll have to face top-level opponents right from the start of the tournament. Still, her third-round run was a good result because her match against Sabalenka was very competitive.
I hope she’ll have a good summer in America. Of course, Emma achieved an incredible result at the US Open (in 2021). But it’s clear she needs to win many more matches before we talk about her as a contender in these tournaments. I don’t want to speak ill of her, but if you compare her to Britain’s No. 1, Jack (Draper), she’s not at the same stage in her career at all.
Draper has been consistently delivering results. He’s proven he’s a world-class, elite player. Sure, he had a disappointing Wimbledon, but drawing Cilic was tough. Marin is a very strong grass-court player who’s reached Grand Slam finals. I’m sure Jack will come back stronger next year, and in the years ahead, he’ll be part of the chasing pack trying to reach the level of Sinner and Alcaraz.
