"I feel like I didn't trouble him too much," Cazaux's regrets after losing his first ATP final in Kitzbühel

Arthur Cazaux will head to the American tour with a lot of confidence.
After a second-round exit at Wimbledon, the Frenchman decided to return to clay by playing the tournaments in Gstaad and Kitzbühel. A winning bet, as he first reached the semifinals in Switzerland before making it to the final in Austria.
However, Cazaux was stopped each time by the same player: Alexander Bublik. Denied his first title on the main circuit this Saturday, the 22-year-old expressed some regrets in comments reported by L'Équipe:
"The context didn't bother me. But I'm disappointed because I feel like I didn't trouble him too much. The goal is to play as many matches as possible against these top players to challenge them. The current momentum is interesting.
I knew what I was capable of, but I lacked benchmarks after my injuries. Recently, I changed a couple of things. I’d rather keep it vague, but they’ve helped me trigger something. Now, I just need to keep working."
After these two positive weeks, Cazaux will make a big leap in the rankings on Monday, moving from 100th to 75th in the world.
