Stats: Before 2025, Bublik had never won 4 consecutive matches on clay
Bublik’s career continues to surprise. While he was known to excel on grass, the Kazakh had never shown a real passion for clay since the start of his career. In fact, he had never won 4 straight matches on this surface and held a record of 40 wins to 53 losses (a 43% win rate).
This statistic has completely flipped this season. Riding high on confidence since mid-May, the 28-year-old has shone on the red dirt. The proof? 17 wins and just 2 losses since the Turin Challenger in May, translating to an 89% win rate.
With three titles this year—a first in his career—Bublik also becomes the third player in history to achieve the Gstaad-Kitzbühel double after Ruud (2021) and Berrettini (2024). Thanks to these results, he will return to the top 25 on Monday.
