I have the opportunity for revenge": Auger-Aliassime ready to challenge Sinner in front of his home crowd
Revenge is already here. Beaten by Sinner in the final of the Rolex Paris Masters, Félix Auger-Aliassime meets the Italian prodigy on his home turf, with the desire to set the record straight. And the Canadian promises a very different duel under the roof in Turin.
The second day of the ATP Finals will see Jannik Sinner and Félix Auger-Aliassime face off in the evening session. The two players will meet again just eight days after the Rolex Paris Masters final, which Sinner won with a score of 6-4, 7-6.
Auger-Aliassime, who qualified for the Masters at the last minute, shared his feelings with Sky Sports about playing the Italian in front of his home crowd:
"Facing him again is going to be interesting, because it doesn't happen often that you meet again so quickly. The last match I played was precisely against him, in the final in Paris, and today I have the opportunity to get my revenge here in Italy, in his home tournament.
