I hope to be proud of myself at the end of my career," says Sabalenka
When asked by Tennis365 about the possibility of matching Serena Williams in terms of achievements, Aryna Sabalenka stated she prefers to focus on herself.
"We all want to break every possible record, that's obvious. But I think the best thing to do is to focus on yourself, on your game, on your personal development.
If we truly deserve major titles, if we deserve to break records, we will achieve them. So I'm focusing on my development as a tennis player.
Of course, I want to accomplish a lot, but I think it will be very difficult to compete with Serena's number of Grand Slam titles.
My goal is to progress as far as possible in this sport. I give my all every day, dedicating my life to tennis. And I truly hope that at the end of my career, I can look at my results and be really proud of myself.
