"I identify with what Luis Enrique said," Alcaraz discusses the influence of PSG's coach

Alcaraz delivered a fierce battle against Shelton to secure his spot in the Roland-Garros quarterfinals. Last year's champion, the Spaniard hasn't had an easy run in the early rounds, as—aside from his first match—he’s dropped a set each time.
During the press conference, the world No. 2 explained that he drew significant inspiration from the words of PSG’s coach, Luis Enrique, who recently won the prestigious Champions League:
"I identify with what Luis Enrique said. It’s true that tennis players can feel pressure during a match or a tournament. It’s precisely in those moments that you see the true potential of great athletes. In the end, that’s the difference between a great tennis player and a good tennis player. I always tell myself that in those moments, you have to give everything, push a little harder, and above all, play without fear."
In the next round, Alcaraz will face Tommy Paul (12th), who defeated Popyrin.
