I remain convinced that I will win one," Zverev still confident about his Grand Slam victory
Despite his three Grand Slam finals, Zverev has yet to achieve the ultimate glory. At 28 years old, many doubt his ability to deliver when the stakes are highest. Questioned by *Punto De Break*, the German remains confident about his chances of winning a major in the coming years:
"It’s clear that Jannik and Carlos are above the rest right now, but I remain convinced that I will win a Grand Slam. I don’t know where it will be, but I don’t care—I know I have the level needed to get there."
The world No. 3 then explained that opportunities are greater for players in the top 30 now than they were during the Big 3 era:
"Tennis has changed a lot in recent years. I’m not saying Alcaraz and Sinner are better or worse than the Big 3, but they hit the ball with more power and make the game faster. Right now, there’s great depth on the tour.
We have potential major tournament champions in the top 30, whereas when Roger, Rafa, and Novak were dominating, it was unthinkable for the 25th-ranked player to achieve big success. The top players never saw someone of that rank as a threat, but that has changed.
