"I slide with every sprint while he...", Petkovic highlights Djokovic's qualities on grass
In an interview shared by Tennis Up To Date, former German player Andrea Petkovic explained what makes Djokovic so strong on grass compared to other players:
"That's why Novak is one of the best tennis players on grass. At first glance, his game shouldn't work as well, but he moves on grass as if it were any other surface, which gives him an advantage over other players. As for me, I slide with every sprint or hurt my hip with every change of direction."
Currently in London, Djokovic did not participate in a grass-court warm-up tournament but will play a match on Friday at the Hurlingham exhibition.
